【アセビとリンドウ: Pieris japonica and Japanese gentian】

７月初めのお稽古は古典的な日本の花、アセビ（馬酔木）とリンドウ（竜胆）が花材でした。馬酔木は枝振りが美しかったのでそれがよく見えるよう配置。それだけでもう恰好がつきそうでしたが、色合いが少しさびしかったのでアクセントに竜胆を足しました。

This week's flower was typically Japanese plants. Pieris japonica (we call it "Asebi".) and Japanese gentian ("Lindo"). Asebi in this season has beautiful range of green, but moreover shape of its branch is beautiful. I had placed it as if I was drawing lines with a pencil. Japanese Gentian was placed to add colours and give a point to focus in the total design.
